Ostelsheim/Sindelfingen December 10, 2025 – On November 26, 2025, SOTEC GmbH & Co KG from Ostelsheim (Calw district) acquired Avatec GmbH, based in Sindelfingen, as a 100% subsidiary.

SOTEC is proud to have partnered with GemOne, contributing our deep expertise in creating high-performance, industrial-grade IoT solutions, like our acclaimed CloudPlug Edge platform, to help bring the advanced Onyx tracker to life.

We can look back on a year that we probably wouldn’t have imagined ourselves. Even if things didn’t always go according to plan, e.g. due to rainy weather, we once again experienced many highlights together with our customers and partners this year and successfully implemented exciting customer projects. A big thank you goes to our team, who mastered every challenge with great commitment and dedication.

We headed to Ulm for our company excursion this year! This awesome city is located at the “Danaube River” and famous for the “Ulm Minster”, which has the tallest church spire in the world. We were ready for a weekend packed with action, culture, and amazing food.
